Experience the must see places of Turkey including Istanbul, Gallipoli Battlefields and the ANZAC Services, Troy, Asklepion and Red Basilica, and the roman city of Pergamon, the ancient ruins of Ephesus, the hot springs of Pamukkale, a mud bath in the middle of Lake Koycegiz, then finish in the magnificent Fethiye / Oludeniz. From Fethiye you can book onto our famous ANZAC DAY 4 day Boat Party that will drop you off in Olympos. From here we can arrange flights or coach transport to, anywhere in Turkey. You may like to hit the Greek Islands? We can arrange the ferry tickets for you to go.

| Day 1 - Istanbul - Tuesday 22nd April 2008 |

(Welcome cocktail included) Welcome to Turkey, arrival in Istanbul. Transfer from airport & check in to your hotel. Welcome cocktail at 07:30pm at the hotel. Tonight we can take you to a welcome gala dinner with our Traditional Turkish Night, an optional activity. You can meet our friendly crew and other travellers while enjoying traditional Turkish food and enjoy the mystical atmosphere of Istanbul at night. The evening starts at 08:30pm. Overnight at 3star hotel in Istanbul. Please Note: Free transfers are available from Istanbul Ataturk Airport throughout today. Please confirm your flight details in advance. | Day 2 - Istanbul City Tour - Wednesday 23rd April 2008 |

(Breakfast included) We depart from your hotel at 08:30am for the Istanbul city tour. Topkapi Palace: The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque: Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and then we head to the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. After the tour you have the option to experience the Bosphorus Cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of Bosphorus which is connecting Asia to Europe. Tonight nearly every tour group will have arrived. We have a welcome ANZAC Party arranged to meet and greet the groups and tour guides. This is an optional activity, unlimited local drinks from 09:00pm - 11:00pm! Overnight at 3star hotel in Istanbul. |

| Day 3 - Gallipoli Tour - Thursday 24th April 2008 |

(Breakfast and lunch included) We depart for Gallipoli at 07:00am (4.5 hours drive). On the way we will have the chance to watch the latest documentary on the Gallipoli Campaign. We arrive in Gallipoli for lunch. We will have an ANZAC lunch on the coast of Kabatepe. We then start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula.
We will visit Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Ari Burnu, Beach Cemetery, Unknown Soldier Monument, Lone Pine Australia’s Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Memorial, The Nek, the original tunnels and trenches at Johnston Jolly (Turkish and Allied), and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery.
After the tour we drive to the coast of Kabatepe again for our big ANZAC BBQ buffet dinner (optional). Prior to dinner we will stop at a supermarket for additional supplies for our overnight stay at ANZAC Cove. To those who decline the fantastic buffet BBQ, this will be your only stop for dinner also. After dinner at approx 09:30pm we will depart for the Dawn Service. Overnight at ANZAC Cove. |

| Day 4 - Dawn Service - Troy - Friday 25th April 2008 |

(Dinner included) Don't forget your sleeping bags, warm clothes, wet weather gear and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and cold today as it was 93 years ago when our ancestors landed.

After the services, we depart for the ancient city of Troy (40 minutes drive). Your guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. | Day 5 - Bergama Tour / Kusadasi - Saturday 26th April 2008 |

(Breakfast and dinner included) Drive to Pergamon (45 minutes) - see Asklepion, Zeus Altar, Red Bassilcia etc. Bergama is the site of the Hellenistic - and later Roman - city of Pergamon, ruled for several centuries by a powerful local dynasty. Its foremost attraction is the Kizil Avlu or "Red Basilica", a huge edifice on the river not far from the acropolis, originally built as a temple to the Egyptian god Osiris and converted to a basilica by the early Christians, when it was one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor addressed by St John in the book of Revelation - though sadly it's now a crumbling ruin with a mosque in one of its towers. Then departure for Kusadasi. On the way, we will visit a place which continues to perform one of the oldest arts of Turkey; a carpet weaving centre. Then we have the option of a Turkish Bath before checking into your hotel. Have a rest till dinner time. After having dinner at your hotel, you will have the free time to stroll. | Day 6 - Ephesus & Kusadasi - Sunday 27th April 2008 |

(Breakfast included) 08:30am we depart for Ephesus (20 minutes drive) - once the commercial centre of the ancient world - is a highlight of any visit to Turkey. The city, whose wealth and patronage supported its splendid architectural program, was dedicated to the goddess Artemis. Her enormous temple, once considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and rebuilt several times, dates in its latest form from the third century B.C. The tour of the ruins also includes a theatre, gymnasium, agora and baths, as well as the Library of Celsus. After lunch, we will make a shopping tour in which you will be aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like leather manufacturing and jewellery. As this will be a guided tour, you will avoid the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is well known in the markets of Turkey. Enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen. Overnight 3star hotel in Kusadasi. |

| Day 7 - Pamukkale Tour - Monday 28th April 2008 |

(Breakfast and dinner included) At 08:30am we depart for Pamukkale (2.5 hours drive). We then arrive at Pamukkale for lunch. Afterwards we shall visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and give you the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. After our days activities we will check into our hotel in Pamukkale. Dinner will be served at the hotel and the rest of the night is yours. Overnight in 3star hotel in Pamukkale. |

| Day 8 - Pamukkale & Dalyan Mud Bath - Fethiye - Tuesday 29th April 2008 |

(Breakfast and dinner included) After breakfast depart for Dalyan (4 hours drive). Dalyan is a very popular small town not spoiled by buildings. The wonderful 7 kilometres sandy Iztuzu Beach, which is accessible by a 45 minutes boat trip, is one of the last nesting areas for the Caretta Caretta, Sea Turtles. Lunch break. A 15 minutes boat trip will take you to the sulphur bath which is a different experience for many people visiting the city. Caunos, the ancient city near modern Dalyan, was founded around the 9th century BC. Caunos is famous for its rock-cut tombs. After the tour, return to your hotel. Resting & dinner. The night is yours. Overnight in 3star hotel in Fethiye. |

| Day 9 - Fethiye - Wednesday 30th April 2008 |

(Breakfast included) The day is yours you don't have to wake up early. Oludeniz is famous throughout the world for it's natural magnificent beach, crystal clear sea and paragliding activities. If you want to have a good fun, you can choose one of our optional activities like jeep safari and paragliding. Overnight in Oludeniz / Fethiye. Tomorrow, our famous ANZAC DAY 4 day Boat party departs. We will drop you off in Olympos. From Olympos we can arrange flights or coach transport to anywhere in Turkey.
